Calibration
Due to inaccuracies in production and build tolerances every unit has to be calibrated in order to align the camera and emitting LASER beam. This is done using an IR card which brings the emitting beam into a visible spectrum.
1. Calibration
Step 1: Plug the PoE UTP cable into the KORUZA v2 Pro unit as displayed on the below photo.
Step 2: Position a single KORUZA v2 Pro unit on a flat, fixed surface and direct the unit so that the main lens points to the the wall, located approximately 15 m from the unit. Ideally, set-up should be made in a room where almost complete darkness can be achieved.
Step 3: Use the IR detection card, appropriate for detecting IR wavelengths in the 1200 nm to 1600 nm range, to follow the IR beam, emitted from the main lens of the KORUZA v2 Pro unit. Start close to the unit, then follow the beam to the wall. Keep in mind that depending on the peak detection wavelength of your card, one of the beams should be less visible than the other.
Step 4: Use the tape to fix the IR card – now aligned with the KORUZA v2 Pro beam – on the wall. Once the card is fixed, turn on the lights.
Step 5: Log on into the KORUZA v2 Pro interface page. To do so, you need to use the same network as the KORUZA v2 Pro unit. To discover the KORUZA v2 Pro unit's IP, you can use network scanning applications on your phone (like the Network Analyzer app) or run nmap -sP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/24on Linux based systems. Note the IP addresses of both units, as you will need them later during Step 10.

Step 6: Use the mouse cursor to select a point located approximately 3 cm under the center of the beam on the IR card.
Step 7: The KORUZA v2 Pro unit is now calibrated. Repeat steps 1. - 6. on the complementary unit.
